What is a Publisher?
A Publisher is an entity that represents a company or group that is a source for advertising content. It is the first entity required for the creation of most entities in the Inventory section. A publisher can have associated Channels, Sites, Zones, Reports, and Templates.
Creating a Publisher
Attributes
- Name: A descriptor for the Publisher.
- ID: A unique identifier for the Publisher generated randomly on creation.
- Publisher Revenue Share: A setting that takes a value between 0-100% indicating the amount of revenue share for this publisher.
- Publisher Members: Email addresses assigned to the Publisher for related members. Owners of these email addresses will be able to log into the Publisher Portal.
- Postback Pixels: This can accept up to 3 postback pixel URLs.
Actions
- Channels: Links to a page which shows associated Channels for the Publisher.
- Sites: Links to a page which shows associated Sites for the Publisher.
- Zones: Links to a page which shows associated Zones for the Publisher.
- Reports: Links to a page which shows associated Reports for the Publisher.
- Templates: Links to a page which shows associated Templates for the Publisher.
- Edit: Links to a page which allows for editing, modification, addition and removal of the attributes listed above.
- Archive: Removes the Publisher.
