What is a Zone?
A Zone is an entity that is related to a Site and holds the relationship between a Channel and Template including configuration settings related to that relationship.
Creating a Zone
Attributes
- Name: A descriptor for the Zone.
- ID: A unique identifier for the Publisher generated randomly on creation.
- Publisher: The name of the Publisher which the Zone belongs to or has an association with.
- Channel: The name of the Channel which the Zone belongs to or has an association with.
- Site: The name of the Site which the Zone belongs to or has an association with.
- Zone Type: Sets the type of the Zone entity. It has the choices of Confirmation or Landing.
- Ad Feed Count: Sets the maximum number of Ads that will appear in the Zone.
- Template: The name of the Template that is affiliated with the Zone.
- Postback Pixels: This can accept up to 3 postback pixel URLs for the Zone.
Actions
- Edit: Links to a page which allows for editing, modification, addition and removal of the attributes listed above.
- Copy Script: Copies a script tag to the clipboard with the Zone's generated script for placement on your website.
- Zone Testing Tool: Brings up a preview tool that shows how the Zone's ad would look on Desktop, Template or locally.
- Transaction Logs: Links to a page which retrieves reports of activity associated with the Zone.
- Archive: Removes the Zone.
